"isn't anyone home?"

JANUARY 9, 2007

We've been voted #13 on the Three Imaginary Girls Best Northwest Releases of 2006 Readers' Poll. "Don't Sit on the Pickets" will be KEXP's Song of the Day for their Friday (1/12) Podcast.  You can also find us in the January issues of Seattle Sound Magazine and Performer. Fun. Thank you for the support!

Also: Racetrack has teamed up with IODA (the coolest online distributor around) and you can now find go ahead and say it on places like Napster, Rhapsody, iTunes (soon) and anywhere you can buy music digitally.

Hey!  There's been so much cool stuff going on with go ahead and say it the past couple weeks, that I have to summarize. We've charted at #25 (#5 on the NW Charts) at KEXP this week. KEXP's Program Director Kevin Cole called it one of his "favorite new records." Thank you!  Chris Travis, who hosts my all-time favorite NW music show "The Young and the Restless" on 107.7 The End has been playing it regularly, too!

We're currently featured in the November podcasts of Amplifier Magazine, Three Imaginary Girls and Shots Ring Out.

And finally, distribution!  Well, sort of. You can buy the EP online in at least 4 places now (see right). It's also in more than a dozen stores in Washington, Idaho and Montana.

Thanks for your support!

ANNOUCEMENT
After five years and 212 shows, Racetrack has decided to pack it in for the time being. We've had a great time meeting so many great people and playing with so many great bands all over the country.

To send us off, we will be releasing a new five song ep, "Go Ahead and Say It" (recorded with Cameron Nicklaus from the Pale Pacific), and play two release shows: on Friday, October 20th in Seattle and Saturday, October 21st in Bellingham.

Thank you again to everyone who has helped us out over the years, and we look forward to seeing many of you at our last two shows.

RADIO

We've been floating around KEXP's Top 90 charts for several months now! So exciting. If you're a KEXP listener, request us here.

We're also getting frequent airplay during 1077.7 The End's "Young and Restless" show!  Sunday's 8-10pm.
